Who We Are

Welcome Home

Well, we would love to be a spiritual home for you! We believe that every person who comes into this circle of fellowship is valuable and special. Above all, we want to express the love of Jesus Christ to you. We are eager to get to know you and share with the exciting ways God is working in our lives.
If you hang around us a bit, it won’t take you long to find a warm family of believers here, with the kind of relationships that matter most. Everyone one of us is a “work in progress,” growing together by worshiping, serving, laughing, crying, accepting, and learning together.
Our doors and hearts are open to you. If you have been thinking, praying, searching, or even just hoping for a place to belong, we say again . . . Welcome Home.

A Family

You will find us to be a spiritual family of believers. Northridge has no headquarters or central governing body to which to answer. We are locally self-governing and independent. The only Head of the church is Jesus Christ, so we tailor everything we do to help and edify the most people possible right here. That’s how and why we offer and try many things to make our worship assemblies, programs, classes, and activities the most helpful and enjoyable that we can.
We are organized as Family with Shepherds / Elders (older experienced, proven Christians who guide and guard us), Deacons who see to the ongoing of duties and programs, Evangelists who proclaim the Word and give spiritual direction, and all kinds of Brothers and Sisters in lead and support roles. There is no ecclesiastical hierarchy, just great folks!

The Bible

Another thing you will noticed is Bible-centered . . . well, everything. From our praise assemblies to our Bible classes for all ages (we have a lot of qualified, experienced teachers), from our planning meetings to our home study groups, the Bible is our guide and authority in all that we do. We study it a lot!

Try Us, We'll Like You

You might have guessed by now that we are simply a group of Christians trying to know God and make Him known. Believing that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, we aim to let His light shine, give Him the praise, and show His compassion to others. We generate a lot of serving and growing opportunities.
